Laughter once again will be heard pulsating from the MECA in Swindon as the sell out Comedy Live will return for a Christmas special.
Multi-award winning comedian Milton Jones will be headlining the 7 December show. He has been a panellist many times on Mock the Week BBC2, and was recently to be seen on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow BBC1. He has also recently had his ninth radio series commissioned for BBC Radio 4. He is a former Perrier Best Newcomer and Perrier Nominee as well as having won a Sony Award for his radio show the Very World of Milton Jones.
Joining Milton will be Ian Stone, ranked amongst the top ten stand-ups in Britain by The Independent. Ian Stone is one of the most talented topical acts and comperes in the country. Edgy and provocative, with an easy-going manner and self-deprecating style, Ian is at great ease bantering with an audience. Joel Dommett, winner of Stand Up and Coming New Act of the Year 2008 and Comedy Cafe New Competition, has made a huge impact on the comedy circuit since starting stand up in 2007 and now performs regularly at comedy clubs all across the UK. With Matt Reed acting as MC for the night, formerly of the comedy duo Mat & Faron.
