Swindon Parents and Carers Advisory Group are in the process of putting the finishing touches to their annual information day. The programme for the day, “Working Smarter Together” is being presented in association with the Swindon Carers Centre.
The exhibition and conference is being held at the Steam Railway Museum on 21 March between 10:00am and 5:00pm. There will be a record number of exhibitors and information providers this year along with a series of optional information presentations with Q&A opportunities after each one.
As well as information about services for disabled children and young people in Swindon, there will be additional services for both parent carers and adult carers, including an opportunity to have a personal health check and benefits review.
You can find out more details about the day and register your attendance on the web site. Otherwise you can just drop in and stay as long as you want. Go to the web site and click the EVENTS button: www.swindonparentsandcarers.org.uk
As usual, the event is free and children are welcome. Parking is available in the Outlet Village car park and will be provided free of charge. Also, Blue Badge holders can park directly outside the museum. All facilities for the day are wheelchair accessible.
We look forward to seeing you there.
