The library in Regent Circus will host four acts from the annual Swindon Shuffle on Saturday, 9 August between 12noon and 2pm.
Now in its eighth year, the Swindon Shuffle is described as a work’s party for the Swindon music scene where promoters, venue staff, bloggers, journalists, musicians and the public can get together and see the best local talent around.
But it is also an important festival to showcase the best unsigned bands and musicians in the area.
This year the event runs from Wednesday, 6 August to Sunday, 10 August and will feature more than 50 acts on 12 stages.
The Central Library set features Emily Sykes (12noon), David Corrigan (12.30pm), Zoe Mead (1pm) and Nick Felix (1.30pm).
The acts will perform in the library’s courtyard and it is a free event.
