Youngsters from Abbey Meads Football Club under 11s were proud to show off a brand new strip from their new team sponsor Trade Depot, Swindon.
The company has six branches in the UK and is rapidly expanding to cater for the home market and to supply the building trade. General Manager Bill Storey says that the company’s motto Simple, Honest, Local sums up their keeness to be involved in their local community. He said, "when we were approached to support a Abbey Meads FC we were happy to back the lads. They're really great lads and the Trade Depot logo looks great on their shirts.
Alan Peare, Abbeymeads FC chairman, wanted to express his gratitude to Trade Depot for sponsoring the team. “We are extremly grateful to Bill and Trade Depot for sponsoring the under 11’s team. We will endevour to raise their profile where ever we play in the North Wilts Youth & Minor League."
