Swindon College are offering a range of exciting new beauty courses to school leavers who may be thinking about applying to study at college this September. There are brand new full and part time beauty courses on offer and if anyone is interested in finding out more they are invited to the College’s Open Evening on Wednesday 9th February 2011, between 5pm-7pm.
Beauty lecturers will be on hand to talk about the new courses and will be able to offer prospective students advice about their career options, demonstrate what techniques will be learnt and will provide information on how to apply on the night.
There’s a new Level 2 full time NVQ Diploma in Nail Services (nails and extensions) and four brand new Level 3 programmes on offer for September start; Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapy, Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy treatments (face and body electrics), a Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies and a part time Level 3 Certificate in Salon Management.
Nikki Cripps, Curriculum Area Manager of Beauty and Holistic Therapy at the College said: “We are really excited to offer these new extended pathways and with these new courses added to our original portfolio it makes our learners more employable in this challenging economic time. Students will now be able to progress from Level 2 to Level 3 and then even on to university level programmes which will open up their career options, creating a better earning potential for them.”
