Outset Swindon is teaming up with SWINDON 105.5, the town’s community radio service, to organise a roadshow that will visit key parts of Swindon during the last week of June.
Both organisations hope that, by taking their teams out on the road, they can reach individuals who may not know about the opportunities available to them.

The Outset Swindon programme is funded by Swindon Borough Council and the European Regional Development Fund. Outset offers free guidance and support services to people living in Swindon Borough who are interested in starting their own business or are thinking of self-employment.
Outset’s services include information sessions, workshops, one-to-one support and help with accessing finance.
Manor Singh, Outset Programme Director, said: “We are delighted to partner with SWINDON 105.5 to run this Roadshow coming to a venue near you and are so pleased to have this great opportunity to talk to the local community and showcase how we can help local people realise their dreams of owning and running their own business. We have already helped to create over 80 businesses and jobs to date."
SWINDON 105.5 will be showing people how they can promote their interests, organisations or events of the air.
The radio station provides development and training opportunities to local people as well as promoting local business. Station Manager Shirley Ludford added: “Getting out into the community is a great way of reaching people and getting key messages across in an informal way”.
Watch out for the iconic 105.5 Radio Caravan, pop over to meet a Dalek and learn how you can become a start-up business. Outset staff and SWINDON 105.5 volunteers will be on hand to provide information, answer questions and capture your views on the local work scene.
From Monday 23 June to Friday 27 June, the team will be visiting Penhill, North Swindon Library, Cavendish Square, Broadgreen, Link Centre and Toothill.
