Orchid Vale Primary School are celebrating an outstanding OFSTED report in July, with special commendation for the pupils’ behaviour and eagerness to learn, as well as the excellent leadership provided by the head teacher Debbie Kalynka and her team.
In a letter to pupils Lead Inspector Joyce Cox highlighted the importance of continuing to work hard, and for the teachers to make sure they consistently communicate what the pupils are to learn, and how well they have performed in their written work.
The report also acknowledged an above average number of parent questionnaires returned for the inspection, with the vast majority of respondents expressing a high level of satisfaction with their children’s progress, safety and school experience.
