Three play parks in West Swindon have been given makeovers and you can be the first to try out the new kit.
The park refurbishments are funded by a £1.1 million government grant to Swindon Council, which is renewing 22 play areas across the borough, each having £50,000 worth of new equipment and landscaping spent on them to encourage children to get out and enjoy the fresh air.
Come along to the reopenings on:
Saturday 17 April, 10am – Nine Elms;
Saturday 17 April, 2pm – Bloomsbury Close, Freshbrook;
Wednesday 21 April, 3.30pm – Camden Close, Grange Park
Work on the larger play area on Shaw Ridge starts in later April.
