The kids will love the Really Roman Fun Day, at the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery, where there’ll be tales of adventure from a Roman storyteller.
Zoe Dennington, of Swindon Museum and Art Gallery, said, “This is going to be a great day as we celebrate the British Festival of Archaeology. There will be lots of fun activities, including the opportunity to make a dice game just like the ones that were popular throughout the Roman Empire. There will also be the chance to handle real Roman artefacts from our collections, try on a toga and take part in lots of other activities – don’t miss it.”
Saturday 28 July, 1pm- 4pm, £5 for both storytelling and craft activity.
