The Phoenix Retreat offers the opportunity to replenish and rejuvenate with a full 2 day programme of activities that will leave you relaxed and revitalised for the months ahead.
During this residential course, held at the Martinsell Centre, near Marlborough, and under the guidance of a team of highly qualified professionals, you will enjoy a programme of activities designed to help you relax, de-stress and begin the journey to enhance your quality of life. Exercises strengthen the muscles that support and stabilise the core of your body. During the weekend you will learn about your posture and how practising neutral Pilates positions can help to relieve the discomfort of any general back pain. and the effects it can have on your long-term wellbeing and level of physical health.
A gentle healing art that incorporates the systemic use of natural essential oils to promote health and wellbeing, aromatherapy is now established as one of the most popular complementary therapies. Your instructors will show you how the soothing combination of beautiful aromas and massage works to regulate, balance and heal and maintain your entire being by working with nature.
Guided Meditation is a focused way of meditating, to get in a higher state of consciousness. It helps us to breathe, relax and focus our thoughts and intentions on a specific goal or purpose. Understand the art of guided meditation and how to use it to calm yourself and reduce the day to day stress of life.
Did you know that eating the wrong food can lead to a lack of energy, weight gain, digestive problems and contribute to depression and anxiety? Learn about the components of the human diet, how our bodies process food and the links between diet and various health issues.
