If you missed the opportunity to participate in the excitement of the Tour de France, then this may be the opportunity to witness the next epic Grande Tour.
A 40 year old office based director has set his sights on a 500 mile, week-long cycling endurance challenge to raise awareness of, and funds for, the Villiers Park Educational Trust’s Scholars Programme which changes the lives of able students from less advantaged backgrounds.
Jeremy Reynolds sets off this Thursday. He has allowed seven days to complete the route, starting on Thursday 17 July through to Wednesday 23 July 2014.
Jeremy said “I’m hoping that everyone who was inspired to support and cheer on the recent visit by the Tour de France will encourage me along the way and if they own a bike it would be great if they join me on a section of my journey – it would give me a huge morale boost”
Jeremy’s route includes:
· Thursday 17 July, 9am departure from Villiers Park Educational Trust, Royston Road, Foxton
· Saturday 19 July, 9am departure from Best Western Royal Victoria Hotel, Marina, St Leonards-On-Sea
