Monique Fiddes will be performing her hit songs privately for children at Holy Rood Junior School on Tuesday afternoon.
She became a huge star in her native South Africa as a teenager aged just 15 years and now wants to repeat that success in the UK, and Europe. Moniqe is still only 20 and married to the Swindon born martial arts star multi-millionaire Matt Fiddes, the former bodyguard to Michael Jackson.
Their wedding last July in South Africa made international news and the couple moved to Swindon where Matt grew up a few months ago. Moniqe and Matt are expecting a child later this year and plan to bring their child up in the town.
Moniqe’s husband Matt went on to have international success with his award wining brand of martial arts schools. He then went on to become a close friend and bodyguard to a string of celebrities including the King of Pop Michael Jackson for ten years. He has since appeared on TV many times around the world and has a celebrity client list including Popstar Peter Andre and former Eastenders actor (Sid Owen) AKA Ricky Butcher.
Matt Fiddes claims he owes his success to Holy Rood junior school as that was where he was first bullied. The experience gave him to motivation to work hard to succeed. He recently was invited to visit his former school and old classroom by the headteacher who also taught Matt when he attended the school.
