PETER Kildemand has been nominated as the first reserve for the 2015 Grand Prix series.
The Dane originally missed out on a wild card place for the series when they were announced on Tuesday, with Michael Jepsen Jensen getting the nod ahead of him, but is now the first in line to step in if a regular rider misses a round through injury.
The move from organisers BSI is a change to recent years, where reserves came from the Grand Prix Challenge, meaning Nicolas Covatti has missed out on the chance to appear in the series after finishing behind final qualifier Maciej Janowski in the Challenge in Lonigo.
Piotr Pawlicki and Linus Sundstrom are second and third reserves.
Over the last three years, the first reserve has ridden in at least six GPs, giving Kildemand hope of making an impression on the World Championship stage in 2015.
Meanwhile, Robins captain Troy Batchelor will again wear number 75 in the GP series.
