A 20 foot high mannequin of St George was wheeled through Swindon town centre to mark the day of Swindon’s patron saint, Tuesday 23 April, organised by inSwindon.
The giant figure lead a procession of children from Robert Le Kyng primary and Drove primary schools, as well as TA Volunteers from the 280 Movement Control Squadron, from Regent Street, along Canal Walk and into Wharf Green.
The children will be divided into four groups where they took part in different activities. Toni and Gordon Dickinson of No Added Sugar led a dragons making workshop whilst other youngsters tried out sports orientated activity, and also an interactive gaming session on the Big Screen.
The day was organised by town centre management and promotion company inSwindon BID
