SWINDON Town Ladies boss Steve Robertson admitted he couldn’t have asked for much more after watching his side move to the top of the table with a 3-1 away win at Forest Green Rovers.
The hosts took the lead through Charlotte King but Town battled back superbly as Meg Attenborough, Meg Vella and Chyna Collings struck to lead the ladies top of the table.
Robertson was impressed with what he say from his side and believes his players are getting everything they deserve.
“We couldn’t have asked for much more, we deserved to win and it was another good performance that we can be proud of,” he said.
“We said at the start of the season that away games are important and so far we’ve done really well, I think the only time we’ve lost is when we went to Charlton in the cup. They were the league above anyway so there was a different in class there.
“Every game’s a test now and it’s about us standing up to that and giving it our best.
“The spirit in the camp is amazing and we’re chipping in with goals from all over the place, and not rely on individuals too much so it’s great to see.”
