Media Make-up students at Swindon College were able to show off their make-up, hair and costume designs at their end of year show this week.
22 first year students based their designs on a circus theme and 10 second year students created fantasy looks for their rainforest theme.
All of the students made all their own costumes, and designed the hair and the makeup for their models. Ellie Baskerville, team leader, said:
"All the students worked really hard and the looks were fantastic! I am very proud of all of them. Everyone in the audience really enjoyed the show and I received some very positive feedback."
The second year students are now looking forward to furthering their skills at university. Nikki Archer, 17, from Carterton is going to study Theatrical Makeup and Costume at Worcester University and Ruth Pease, 25, from Bristol and Emma Moore 21, Wroughton, have both recieved offers from the London College of Fashion to study Prosthetics and Fashion.
The College is now taking new students for the BTEC National Diploma in Design – Media Make-up for this September. Call Student Services on Freephone 0800 731 2250 for more information.
