Roves Farm is a great day out come rain or shine with numerous themed events throughout the summer!
The Bear Hunt (July 23 – August 4) Budding explorers needed to Swish, Splosh, Squelch and Tiptoe whilst on a Bear Hunt on the Free Tractor Rides! Craft sessions also offer the opportunity to make bear masks to take home!
Robin Hood (August 5- 11) Make a Robin Hood Hat or Hobby Horse before going on the Free Tractor Ride for an adventure to one of Roves’ woodlands, with the task of helping Robin Hood find his lost gold!
Hungry Caterpillar (August 12- 24) Feed Roves’ wibbly wobbly hungry caterpillar on the Free Tractor Rides to help him grow into a big beautiful butterfly! Craft will also be full of caterpillars and butterflies to make!
Sunflowers ( August 25-31) Free Tractor Rides take you to see the beautiful sunflowers, with a quiz to help water one very special sunflower to help make him grow! Snip, stick and decorate your very own sunflower to take home!
The Visitor Centre has a full programme of activities throughout the day including: Meet and Feed a wide range of farm animals, Animal Racing, Free Tractor and Trailer Rides and plenty of Pedal Tractors, Children’s Craft, 2 Acre Willow Maze with clue sheets, Giant Bale Stack with tunnels, Family Walk with an ink stamp activity past Animal Paddocks, along with Indoor and Outdoor Adventure Play Areas.
