Budding detectives are being invited to solve some mysterious deaths at the Central Library.
The Central Library in Regent Circus is hosting a murder mystery event on Saturday, 27 October at 2pm for young people aged 16 and under.
The event has been organised by the Central Headspace group, a group of young library users, who have co-ordinated a range of previous events in the library including treasure hunts and workshops in drama and art.
In the murder mystery, young people will study crime scenes and clues dotted around the library in an effort to find out how famous characters have been killed.
The challenge can be taken up by individuals or groups (maximum of 4 per group) and those who come up with the best explanation as to why the crime has taken place will win prizes, including HMV and cinema vouchers and goody bags.
Young people interested in signing up for the murder mystery event can do so on the day. Alternatively, they can put their names down before 27 October by going to the ground floor Information Services Desk in the Central Library.
