Times are tough for business but getting your priorities right is important when, every day, 10 families are told that their child has cancer.
InfoSys Limited Finance Director, Dave Lobb, knows all too well from personal experience that diagnosis of a childhood cancer in a family is a massive shock. In 2003 CLIC Sargent gave Dave’s family invaluable help with clinical, practical and emotional support, when they needed it most.
InfoSys is a Swindon based company in Stratton that has been providing IT software services for over 20 years and employs twenty people.
Managing Director of InfoSys, Kevin Metcalfe, is passionate about charitable fundraising and has highlighted this as a key business objective in the future for his company. He said: “I believe employers have a responsibility to conduct business in an ethical way. In a tough economic climate charities are being challenged to help even more people in need of their expertise.
There are so many worthy charities in the UK, but it was an easy decision for our team when we chose CLIC Sargent as the InfoSys charity for 2011. Our team have been very proud to be sponsors of CLIC Sargent and are pleased to be able to present them with a cheque for £1000 to help them continue their valuable work."
