Over 280 runners dressed in red and white and wearing white beards ran around Lydiard Park on 1 December to raise money for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Included in the number were children wearing elf hats and dogs sporting reindeer antlers.
Before the 5k run started there was a minute silence in remembrance of those who died in the police helicopter crash in Glasgow on Saturday 30 November.
Organisers Rotary Club of Swindon Phoenix hope to have raised over £8,000 for the charity.
Last year some 200 runners took part to raise £6,000.
Paul Parfrey of the Rotary Club said: "It was a fantastic turnout for such a vital cause. There was a fantastic atmosphere; everyone had great fun."
“It’s the second year running that we’ve supported the Wiltshire Air Ambulance. It does such good work in the area; many of the people taking part have been, or know someone who has been, helped by them.”
