This month sees bands, musicians, those working within music provision or with music gain a resource and studio that they can really benefit from, move to Swindon.
SoundsGood Studios already has a reputation for not only producing top quality recordings for local and national bands but has supported the local music scene via its rehearsal space and nights put on at the Lounge Bar in Old Town, Swindon.
This move see SoundsGood Studios invest in new facilities that include:
A large ventilated rehearsal room kitted with a selection of drum kits / 1800 watt PA, microphones with leads and a selection of Marshall & Trace Elliot Amps. The recording studio with 32 input desk and separate vocal & drum booths.
Prices for the rehearsal room start from under £9 an hour, and Quicktracks recording is available every evening, where you can record 1 track in 2 hours and it will be ready for myspace – this is priced at just £45. With live services including PA hire / live recording available plus much more, Sounds Goods is looking to open its doors to the whole of the Swindon area, inviting bands, schools, local businesses, TV production companies and more to use its facilities.
The studio is open from 2 January, with a studio launch party planned for 31 January 2009, from 7pm through until midnight. Come and see the facilities for yourself, enjoy some refreshments and local bands Soulsmith, the Citizens, the Pantones & Isaacs Aircraft putting on a show, with the official opening at 8pm by a very special music celebrity guest.
Places are limited so contact email@example.com to reserve your place.
A membership scheme giving discounts off services and offers from local businesses, will be available to sign up to on the night.
