Phoenix Stewart, one half of a stilt walking duo from the town, appeared on TV on Monday 10 February for a few seconds in a new BBC 1 daytime programme called WPC 56.
The series revolves around the first Woman Police Constable to join Brinford Constabulary, a fictional police force in the West Midlands, in 1956.
Phoenix Stewart and Emily Smith who run Swindon Stilt walkers have been stilt walking for about two years now and have done many different projects in and around Swindon.
This is the second time Swindon Stilt Walkers has appeared on TV, once in 2013 for Dr Who next to Matt Smith and now on WPC 56.
Phoenix Stewart said: "It is great that as well as working with local businesses in Swindon, supporting events and parties, I got the opportunity to land a small role in WPC56. Considering we are both self taught it’s great that we are able to use our skills for some really fun and interesting jobs".
Stilted walking partner Emily Smith, added: " Due to other work commitments I couldn’t stilt walk for the programme but it’s great to add to our list of work.
"I own and run Emily’s pole fitness in Swindon and it has got super busy. We have enquires every day asking about the types of different classes we do – Pole dancing, Aerial hoop, conditioning classes and Silks to name but a few.
"We are having to add more classes in just to keep up with demand. But when I get some free time me and Phoenix get a high up view of things together"
