Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has launched Ridgeway Farm – a community in the making, which has been designed to keep the Swindon community up to date with all the latest news and information on their up coming housing development.
It also has the facility for visitors to share their views and concerns about the physical development of 700 houses on the green fields on the northern edge of West Swindon in Wiltshire.
The site contains detailed information about the proposed development and features current site plans. Interested parties can also view the plans for the new primary school, as well as what the developer will be contributing to the area through the Section 106 agreement.
Rob Phelps, technical director for Taylor Wimpey Oxford, pictured, said: “We have launched the Ridgeway Farm website so the local community and househunters can easily access all the information they need to know about the development in one place. We will be updating the website regularly as the plans progress.
“We always try to keep local communities informed and consult with them as we develop our plans and welcome any comments that local people may have about Ridgeway Farm at this stage.”
Taylor Wimpey is proposing to build around 700 new homes on the Ridgeway Farm site to create much needed new homes for the local community. The development will range from one bedroom starter homes through to five bedroom family homes.
