After last year’s sensational visit, The Dreamboys return to the Wyvern Theatre in September with more music, muscle, magic and mayhem than ever before.
Ahead of their performance at Swindon’s number one entertainment venue, The Dreamboys were in Wharf Green on Tuesday 25 June to impress fans with their eye catching six packs, pecs, tattoos, big smiles and humour.
But they didn’t expect Olivia Harvey taking centre stage and becoming the fan of the moment for Richard Wintle of Calyx
The three year old stepped forward to show the guys how to capture hearts with an impromptu performance.
Mum Natasha Baines was in town with her daughter and was heading to the car park when Olivia ran off towards The Dreamboys having their picture taken to promote their upcoming show at the Wyvern.
She said: "I had no idea what was going and all of a sudden Olivia was running away towards these bronzed men. She was saying ‘you look like my daddy’ because she’s so used to seeing him without a shirt on.
"The guys started making a fuss of Olivia and when there’s a camera around you just can’t stop her. She just loves to pose; I think she was trying to copy The Dreamboys. They were really, really friendly and didn’t seem to mind at all being upstaged by a three years old."
The promotional event has certainly attracted at least four new converts. "I must admit I didn’t know much about The Dreamboys. But having met them with their shirts off and seen their web site, who couldn’t be attracted by them. Me, my friend, my mum and an aunt will be buying tickets to the Wyvern show.
The Dreamboys are without a shadow of a doubt the UK’s top male glamour show, perfect for a girls’ night out. Many will recognise them from their guest appearances on massive TV shows such as The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, Celebrity Big Brother, Pineapple Dance Studios, Loose Women, This Morning and The Only Way Is Essex.
The Dreamboys’ visit to the town coincided with the release of the Wyvern Theatre’s brand-new season brochure.
Rebecca Rowland, manager of inSwindon BID town centre management company, said: “The Wyvern Theatre is such an important asset to Swindon town centre. It includes a variety of cultural performances for all ages and interests, and it brings the whole community together. I am always excited to see the new brochure, and this Autumn is packed full of non-stop entertainment for everyone.”
The Dreamboys’ Tour night of music, muscle, magic and mayhem happens on Friday 6 September.
