This Thursday will see the final part of the inSwindon Cultural Festival.
Each Thursday throughout August, Wharf Green has featured various forms of entertainment from live musical theatre to children’s films screened live on the Big Screen to exhibitions of art and photography.
As the finale of the event, inSwindon has encouraged people to register to showcase their musical talent live onto the Big Screen. A vast array of solo singers and musicians have already registered which promises to be an entertaining line-up. Each act has prepared a minimum of two songs so there will be a whole afternoon of musical talent.
The music will range from jazz singers to pianist and guitarists to tabla drumming, something there for all the family. On 25 August there will be more 20 performers playing on stage under the Big Screen, Including Alice Offley,Stevie Gilmore and Jim Blair.
inSwindon encourages people to use the Big Screen at Wharf Green as a showcase for local talent and invites local groups or companies to use the arena and take part in events whenever possible.
