Sasi Strallen, the Wyvern Pantomime’s Cinderella, popped into Blaylocks Shoes on Thursday 24 November in search of the shoe that fits, just before joining the evening fun when Old Town switched on its Christmas lights.
After losing her glass slipper at the Prince’s ball, Cinderella looked to the shoe-shop in Swindon’s Old Town, hopeful that the family business would be able to give her a helping hand.
Founded in 1920 by Robert Blaylock, Blaylocks Shoes has developed into one of the leading independent shoe retailers in the south of England, offering an extensive range of men’s, ladies’ and children’s footwear.
“There really was only one shoe shop to turn to,” said The Wyvern’s Marketing Manager Richard Loftus.
Cinderella is the most magical story of them all and this year’s production boasts stunning sets, sensational costumes and real-life ponies.
Cinderella runs from Saturday 10 December to Sunday 8 January.
