Members of UTC Swindon’s board and project will be on hand to answer any questions about the new University Technical College.
Neil Edwards, Supply Chain Manager at Zycko Ltd, said: “We are very excited to be hosting a regional open evening for UTC Swindon. It is a great opportunity for people to come down and not only find out about the University Technical College but what the industry partners have to offer the potential students.”
Dr Gareth Neighbour, who heads up Engineering at Oxford Brookes University, will be sharing details of the curriculum at UTC Swindon and talking about how the courses are linked to the work of local and national engineering employers.
Gareth Neighbour said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to find out about this exciting new college for 14 – 19 year olds, which will provide young people with an engineering-focused education and prepare them for careers in a diverse and innovative industry.”
