Fast Forward, the business services division of New College Swindon, is working in partnership with Improve International to provide invaluable training and a nationally recognised qualification in Customer Service for Veterinary Receptionists.
Originally offering the qualification to practices in Swindon and Wiltshire, they are now delivering it across the country.
Following on from the success of the pilot course delivered in Devizes in October which had 100% success rates, Fast Forward has just delivered a course for the Veterinary Receptionists at Avonvale practice in Warwickshire. The course was very well received and also achieved 100% success rates with all the delegates passing the qualification.
The Veterinary Receptionists gave positive feedback about the training delivered by Emma Lacey, commenting on how the course was interesting, engaging and very relevant to their job roles.
Liz Kelland who completed the course said it was the most enjoyable course she had been on.
Gerry Fox commented: “I really enjoyed the course. I found Emma very friendly and helpful”. She also commented that the content of the course will be very useful at work and the course made her more aware of the needs of her customers.
Anita White, Director of the Warwick branch, said: “Our receptionists are really fired up as a result of the course, they have got to know each other so much better and regard themselves as a real team across the practice now. I definitely think this is the way forward to ensure veterinary receptionists value themselves”.
