Girls, young women and volunteers from all over the country have spent the past year celebrating 100 years of Girlguiding and now are excited to get going with the next 100! Here in the South West there are in excess of 7000 girls want to join the fun, but can’t – simply because we don’t have enough adult volunteers.
Guides, Brownies, Rainbows and Senior Section enjoy a wide range of games and activities at their weekly meetings and like to get out and about for trips away! Volunteers would be involved in supporting and enabling the girls get stuck in with what they set out to achieve as a unit or smaller patrol groups.
Volunteering with Girlguiding UK is a fantastic way to make a real difference to the lives of girls and young women in your community – and gain amazing experiences yourself. Whether you can help out every few months or make a regular weekly commitment, we can find a role to suit you.
