Roves Farm Visitor Centre is inviting all budding explorers to join them for their themed activity week ‘The Bear Hunt’. This new theme will continue the summer holiday frolics at Roves Farm, running from Saturday until Friday 20 August.
Craft sessions offer children the opportunity to snip, stick and decorate their very own bear masks and pictures to take home. The Free Tractor Rides are based on the classic children’s book ‘We’re all going on a bear hunt’.
Katie Allen, the Visitor Centre’s themes designer says ‘Follow our intrepid explorer (pictured) and swish, splosh, squelch and tiptoe your way around our flower meadows and mature woodlands, with the hope of finding our friendly bear’.
Roves Farm has 60 acres of wild flower meadows and 40 acres of woodland, which are managed in a sustainable manner to help increase the local wildlife communities including deer, hares, rabbits, buzzards and owls. However, for one week only they will be joined by Roves’ bear!
Additional activities include Meet and Feed a wide range of farm animals, Animal Racing, Giant Bale Stack, 2 Acre Willow Maze, along with Indoor and Outdoor Adventure Play Areas.
Roves Farm Visitor Centre is open daily, 10.30am – 5.00pm, throughout the summer holidays. Sunflower Week will follow on after the ‘Bear Hunt’.
