Former corporate internal auditor Deborah Cripps has made a complete career change and launched a new business in West Swindon after dropping four dress sizes with the help of LighterLife.
Deborah Cripps went from a size 18 to a 10 in just three months with the help of LighterLife, the weight-loss and weight-management programme designed for people with one or more stone to lose.
She was so delighted with her achievement and inspired by the programme that she stared training to become a LighterLife Counsellor to bring the unique weight-loss and weight management programme to the area.
Being overweight most of her life, Deborah had tried lots of different diets prior to discovering LighterLife. After years of her weight going up and down like a yo-yo, she started to see the success one of her friends had on the programme. Through the techniques learned from LighterLife, Deborah has maintained her weight loss for nearly four years.
Now qualified as a counsellor Deborah has set up her own Lighter Life centre at Unit 91, Basepoint Business Centre, Rivermead Drive in Westlea. Clients meet her in small single sex groups designed to help them discover and understand the reasons for their weight gain, whilst developing a new relationship with food.
Deborah said “I’m delighted to be bringing LighterLife to West Swindon. I’m living proof that the programme works and I’m looking forward to showing the people of Swindon how they can reach their healthy weight-loss goals and change their lives for the better.”
