Youngsters at Tregoze Primary School in Grange Park dressed up as Kings and Queens on the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Tuesday 4 June.
As her majesty walked up the aisle at Westminster Abbey, accompanied by Prince Phillip, her children and grand children, and a yet to be born monarch, the Tregoze children attended an assembly with staff to learn more about the Queen’s reign and Coronation Day in 1953.
Nearly all were dressed as monarchs and also representatives from the Commonwealth who attended the ceremonies of the past and present. Even a pharoah from ancient Egypt made an appearance.
Afterwards each class paraded around the school trying their royal waves, left.
