The Wiltshire Huskies was set up in 2010 by accident really writes Robin Horley.
There were 5 of us who had huskies and fancied a walk together to socialise our dogs with their own type.
We now have regular walks with 40 or 50 plus sled dogs. Within this time we have created a Facebook page and have nearly 700 members.
We now help hundreds of unwanted huskies which are abandoned and left to the pound, help people to adopt these huskies and give them all the right information.
A fundraising and awareness day was held at Go Outdoors in Swindon where the public could see the dogs and how Wiltshire Huskies works.
It was an amazing day with potential adoptions put into place and also a lot of money raised through kind donations and a raffle. A fun day is planned at Lydiard Park in June.
