Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault at approximately 5.55pm on Tuesday 10th December at the Fleming Way bus stops on the Tri-Centre side of the road, Swindon.
A 14-year-old girl was attacked by four females as she waited to catch a bus.
The victim had visited McDonalds and made her way with a friend to Fleming Way to catch the bus home.
Shortly after her friend departed, the females, who are known to her, carried out the unprovoked attack.
The four are all aged 15 to 17 years old and appear to have followed the victim under the underpass near Debenhams and shortly afterwards were seen running back through the Parade.
As a result of the attack, the victim sustained a tear to her ear and heavy swelling to her face as she was repeatedly kicked to the head whilst on the ground.
She was taken to the Great Western Hospital and released following treatment for her injuries. She has been left shaken and shocked by the attack.
Three females have been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and remain in custody at this time.
Local Crime Investigator Michelle Giles would like to hear from anyone who was in Fleming Way and witnessed the attack or any person with information.
