The Central Library is hosting fun-packed workshops for children over the next two Saturdays.
The library, which is based in Regents Circus, will welcome professional dancer and storyteller Susmita Pujara from the South Asian Performing Arts Committee on Saturday (1 March).
She will present Story & Dance, a fun, interactive workshop for children to experience the excitement and art of retelling Asian Stories through movement and dance.
The workshop is suitable for children aged between 5 and 11.
Tickets are on sale now from all Swindon libraries priced at £1.50 for library members or £2.50 for non-members.
The following Saturday (8 March), Sixth Sense Theatre for Young People will present Dreams & Wishes, a free drama workshop for children aged between 3 and 7.
Professional actress Claire-Marie will hold a fun workshop exploring Dreams and Wishes. Children (and mums) will be able to take part in the stories, drama, songs and movement.
The sessions will be held between 10am and 10.45am and between 11am and 11.45am.
Spaces are limited for all the workshops so it is essential to book places in advance.
