Swindon’s latest restaurant was officially opened with a gala night on Tuesday 23 September, writes Jenny-Anne Dexter.
The Circle Restaurant, situated on the first floor of the Wyvern Theatre has modern, sophisticated style and a crisp approach to food with traditional table settings and quality service. Essentially – Simple. Fine. Dining.
It offers a variety of menus including three-course pre-show meals, theatre tour lunches, murder mystery dinners, buffets, children's parties, themed nights, small weddings, conference facilities and catering for private functions. After a major refurbishment of the theatre, this will be the cherry on top of the cake for the new-look theatre.
Look out for pre-show dining in the Autumn programme which includes Spirit of the Dance, An Evening with Tony Benn and Aladdin, the theatre’s biggest ever pantomime.
Murder mystery evenings will be a key attraction to the restaurant where you can enjoy a sumptuous three-course meal as you solve a unfolding drama before your very eyes! Watch the scenes, interrogate suspects and search for the hidden clues whilst sampling excellent cuisine. Each Murder Mystery Evening will have its own unique plot, presented by the acclaimed Moneypenny Productions.
In December the Circle plays host to a series of Party Nights and Comedy Curries. Party Nights are designed for all groups, from a circle of friends, to an office outing to a family occasion with a difference. Each evening features a three-course meal with welcome drink, followed by a disco with our resident DJ until the early hours.
Our Comedy Curries will be the ultimate alternative Christmas Party. Enjoy the best in stand-up comedy and choose from a selection of Indian Dishes. We've already had to book two extra Comedy Curries to keep up with demand!
All events in the Circle Restaurant are on sale now and booking fast. Be the first to see Swindon's newest dining experience!
The Circle Restaurant is also available for private parties, conferencing and all events.
