Back by popular demand after their two sell out concerts in January, the choir have been busy rehearsing a new repertoire. Jonjo is a serving soldier with 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment who have recently returned from Afghanistan. “I’m looking forward to performing In My Dreams again with the Military Wives Choir, as I think the lyrics convey what I feel when I leave my wife to go on tour and what my wife and other military wives feel about their husbands and partners going away to a war zone”.
Jenny Emerson, the Chairman of the Defence Academy Military Wives Choir said, “We are all really excited to be performing again at the Wyvern Theatre and in particular performing with Jonjo”.
The concert is on at 2.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. on 2nd June. Tickets cost £20.
