A trauma group is offering professionals and public the chance to learn about the ‘invisible injury’.
Swindon Trauma Group is running three events in October to raise awareness of the causes, symptoms and effects of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Gulf War Syndrome amongst health care professionals, the public and those who work with ex-service personnel.
The group comprises ex-service personnel and therapeutic experts who wish to deepen public understanding of the condition, and reach out to the medical community to let them know what they can offer.
