Swindon business woman Sadie Harries has set herself a high target of climbing to the North Col of Mount Everest in April to raise £50,000 for SMASH.
Sadie will be spending a month acclimatising on an arduous trek through the foothills before making the climb. As a management trainer, she’s always encouraging people to achieve more and push past personal boundaries. It’s an approach she’s taken in her fundraising events, by undertaking activities like a bungee jump, a skydive, and most recently stand up comedy.
SMASH, based at Link Centre, provides support to troubled young people who want to change their lives with the help of trained mentors.
On her return Sadie will be talking about her experience at business and community events to continue raising awareness of SMASH.
She is offering a range of sponsorship opportunities to assist the charity.
