Basepoint Swindon are pleased to announce their presentation of £10,000 to local charity, The MS Therapy Centre.
The money match funds money raised by the charity through their own fundraising events such as a raffle, Glenwood Close Open Gardens and Swindon College £10 Challenge, to name but a few.
Lyn Chapman, Centre Manager at Basepoint Swindon said: “We are delighted to have donated £50,000 to the centre over the last 5 years. The support we give is a huge boost towards the running costs of the charity and we plan to continue supporting the team in their future fundraising efforts.”
Tim Culling, Chair of Trustees, recently wrote to Basepoint Swindon and commented: “I’ve seen and heard so much about all that Basepoint have done to support us, and to hear that you are again prepared to provide such generous match funding as you are is such a huge encouragement and motivation for everyone at the Centre. Everyone who is involved in the work that we do at our centre really appreciates your generosity more than any words in a letter can express.”
