The new Building Better Opportunities fund is about to be launched and if you are a Wiltshire and/or Swindon based organisation helping people back into training, work or volunteering – particularly if your organisation helps people most disadvantaged in the work place or furthest from the job market – then two workshops will prepare you to make an application.
The latest news is that the fund will be launched in early June and there might only be eight weeks for an initial bid to be submitted. The intention is for just a single bid of up to £4million to be developed, so the sector needs to work together efficiently to make the most of this opportunity.
Attendance is free, but space is limited and booking is required.
These workshops will give you an opportunity to:
hear the latest details,
meet others with similar and matching interests and plan how to work together, and
discuss aspirations with potential lead organisations.
If you would like to be there, the links to register are: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bbo-workshop-swindon-tickets-16816710233 for Swindon on Friday 15 May
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/bbo-workshop-devizes-tickets-16816746341 for Devizes on Monday 18 May.
Tea and coffee will be provided but take you own lunch. Parking is not provided. If you are travelling by car please allow time to park.
