UK Coffee Week is upon us and three Swindon coffee houses, that serve only the highest quality coffee, have announced that they are supporting the cause in their own unique way, writes Daniel J Webb.
Swindon’s Harris + Hoole at Tesco Extra, Darkroom Espresso on Farringdon Road and The Core in Old Town have teamed up to help raise funds for Project Waterfall, to help bring clean water and sanitation to coffee growing communities around the world.
Harris + Hoole will offer their classic Flat White, Darkroom Espresso will offer their ‘Batch Brew’ and The Core will offer an almond milk latte – all at a discounted rate of just £2.
On top of the discounted coffee, you will be able to collect a UK Coffee Week card. Visit each participating outlet durign the week and get it stamped, you’ll be entered into a prize draw.
One lucky winner will win a latte art class at Harris and Hoole, espresso training at Darkroom Espresso and juice workshop places at The Core.
Kris Talikowski, of The Core Swindon said: “Superb speciality coffee has finally arrived in Swindon as we now have some great coffee houses.
“Mainstream coffee companies’ don’t offer the range and depth of quality that you get from independents and the difference, when you try the best, is really noticeable. We wanted to showcase some of Swindon’s finest new coffee houses, and support a great cause too.”
