VisitWiltshire has launched a new online photo library to help promote tourism and in turn attract more visitors to Wiltshire.
The new photo library is aimed at national and international tour operators, group travel organisers and press. It will also be a free resource for VisitWiltshire’s 600 partners and other key stakeholders.
Over 1,100 images organised into 135 albums have been uploaded onto Flickr and feature the vast array of product on offer around the county.
As well as holding all the relevant copyright information required the images are tagged and have been sorted according to the seasons, themes or the places they represent.
The albums featured include individual partner attractions such as STEAM Museum Swindon, Stourhead, and Crofton Beam Engines as well as albums which consolidate many businesses with the same theme, for example, National Trust, World Heritage Site, and the county’s industrial heritage.
Timeless places, towns and picturesque villages have all been given albums, such as Marlborough, Cricklade, Salisbury, Vale of Pewsey, Woodford Valley, and Cranborne Chase.
There are themed albums such as Architecture, Big Skies, Countryside, Shopping, Film Locations and campaign albums such as Timeless Wonders.
One of the 135 albums which can be viewed is Time for Wiltshire where a selection of popular Wiltshire images can be downloaded at a resolution to suit the user.
New albums and images will be added regularly to ensure the photo library represents the seasonal Wiltshire offer and refreshing look.
To access a list of all albums and to request further images, information or a press visit, contact Florence Wallace, PR Manager, tel. 01722 341309 or 07436 588860 or mail: email@example.com
