Members of the public will get the chance to see some rather large wingspans in the beautiful surroundings of Lydiard Park’s Georgian Walled Garden.
On Sunday, 14 June, rare baby Black Winged Kite Dante and Liberty, the Verreaux Eagle Owl, will be joined by many more of their feathered friends at the Birds of Prey show at the Swindon Borough Council-owned stately home and park.
The Birds of Prey show will include audience participation with members of the public being able to handle the birds alongside educational and entertaining commentary. There are two sessions on the day, which will take place from 11am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 3pm.
As well as Dante and Liberty, the show will also feature birds such as a rare baby Egyptian Vulture, an African White Backed Vulture, a White Faced Scops Owl, a Blue Winged Kookaburra and an American Kestrel.
