Colleagues of Nathanial Williams who works for West Swindon based brand and data managment company Jaywing are looking forward to his transformation on Wednesday 1 July.
In fact they might wonder if there is a new member of staff amongst them.
For a long time Nathanial has been hidden behind an impressive Afro and heavy duty black beard. But at 1pm on Wednesday it’s all going to come off in aid of the Great Western Hospital Special Care Baby Unit via Brighter Futures But it could take some time as there’s a long of hair to come off.
Nathanial writes on his Just Giving Page: ‘The company I work for, Jaywing, are hugely philanthropic, raising thousands of pounds every year for charities such as Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Cancer Research UK and Footsteps Centre. Currently, there is a focus on raising money for the Great Western Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU).
‘SCBU is integral in treating and monitoring babies who are born prematurely, go through difficult deliveries or start off life with antenatal concerns. Additionally, the staff and midwives of SCBU support the parents of these children through a highly stressful time.
‘In order to raise money for this fantastic cause, I’m having a beard and mop chop. It’ll take place at work, on a (hopefully) sunny day towards the end of June. I’ll ensure its filmed, too, so you all can see my beautiful locks being butchered.’

Nathanial’s fundraising will count towards the Jaywing annual fundraising goal of £4,000
