• Gardens in the Old Shaw Lane area of West Swindon will be open on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care and Swindon youth mentoring project SMASH.
Over the last 12 years the open gardens weekend has raised some £26,000 for charities.

• The next TWIGS Open Day takes place on Sunday 21 June, 11am to 4pm, when there will be the chance to admire the beautiful gardens, meet Swindon bee keepers, buy plants, listen to music, as well as sit and relax with tea and cake.
Breakfasts and lunches will be available next door at the Olive Tree Cafe, a TWIGS spin-off enterprise, within Manor Garden Centre, SN2 2QJ.
TWIGS (Therapeutic Work in Gardens) is a gardening project based at Cheney Manor that supports adults who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
