The new Swindon Theatres Autumn/Winter brochure is out now and is full to the brim with a variety of drama, music, mystery, dining events and much, much more.
Visitors to the Wyvern Theatre and Swindon Arts Centre are spoilt for choice this coming season, with comedy from the Tony award-winning Avenue Q in July, family fun from Jaqueline Wilson’s spectacular Hetty Feather in September and a classic murder mystery in the form of Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None. October sees the return of the thrilling Horrible Histories with their Groovy Greeks and Incredible Invaders, while Nigel Havers makes a welcome return to the Wyvern Theatre with The Importance of Being Earnest.
Christmas can’t come soon enough with the arrival of Santa Claus and the Christmas Adventure at the Arts Centre in December, a charming alternative to the magical pantomime adventure Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with soap legend Adam Woodyatt throughout December and early January.
Swindon Theatre’s Director, Derek Aldridge said “I am extremely proud of the breadth and quality of the productions at both Wyvern Theatre and Swindon Arts Centre. This Autumn shows that whether you love drama, comedy, live music, children’s shows, dance or traditional pantomime you don’t have to look further than Swindon for a great theatrical experience.”
