Kids completing the quiz at each attraction over the next five weeks get a chance to win one of five exclusive goody bags.
The competition sees Swindon Museum and Art Gallery, Lydiard House & Park, Museum of Computing, Richard Jefferies Museum and Steam: Museum of the Great Western Railway, working together to celebrate the town’s history of innovation and creativity.
Helping coordinate the event, Simon Webb from the Museum of Computing said, “Visiting all five museums brings Swindon’s story to life; one that’s as much about artists and writers as engineers and inventors. The quizzes are a fun way to experience that story and an interesting activity for families over the school holidays.”
Prizes for the five goody bags have been donated by each museum. Entering in the free prize draw is easy. Visitors complete a quiz sheet at each museum and take it to the front desk in return for a secret word. Simply send all five words from all five museums to email@example.com or write the answers on a postcard with your name, email address and telephone number and hand in at any of the museums taking part.
