Miss Wiltshire Nicole Cox was on hand to try out the Lindt range of desserts which are now available at Swindon dessert parlour Kaspa’s.
The idea started when Katie Greenwood, assistant manager of the Lindt Store at the Swindon Designer Outlet Village, visited Kaspa’s earlier in the year and thought her stores products would offer something different to the expansive menu. She said: “When looking through the list of desserts on offer I thought it would be great to add a Lindt dessert to the menu.”
After running the idea through the Lindt hierarchy the last hurdle for Katie was convincing the team at Kaspa’s this would be a beneficial addition to their menu, something Rafi Zaidi, owner of Kaspa’s agreed with. He said: “Katie came to me about adding Lindt products to the menu. We had to ensure the desserts offered something different to what we currently offered and after offering to trial three products, the initial customer feedback confirms that it is a great addition to the menu.”
During the trial and for the coming months Kaspa’s will be making a donation to charity, Kick4Life, for every Lindt dessert sold, continuing their support of local people and projects.
Rafi added: “Shaun Jones is heading out to Lesotho in November with the Kick4Life team to work with the orphans and vulnerable children. After reading about that they will be doing and Kaspa’s are more than happy to support his fundraising efforts.”
Nicole Cox, who despite heading to the swimwear round of her latest beauty pageant this weekend, was happy to support the launch of the new range. She said: “Kick 4 Life, Kaspa’s and Lindt have produced an amazing array of desserts, Next time you visit Kaspas have something from the Lindt menu and I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed, and you’ll be helping a good cause.:
The desserts on offer are Lindt Chocolate Sundae, Chocolate Waffle and also a Chocolate Milkshake. You have the option of either milk, dark or white chocolate or even a combination of the three. For a limited time each dessert purchased will also receive a discount on their next purchase at the Lindt store at the Swindon Designer Outlet Village and also a Lint loyalty card.
Shaun Jones is grateful to Kaspa’s and Lindt for supporting his fundraising efforts, saying: LIf it wasn’t for the kindness of companies such as Kaspa’s and Lindt people like myself wouldn’t be able to raise funds for smaller charities that mean so much to ourselves. I would also like to say a big thank you to Michelle and Laura at Casbah who held a bucket collection and Liam at Quasar for holding a UV Paint party all in aid of Kick4Life.”
