Swindon’s second biggest football club Swindon Supermarine FC, have cut the admissions prices for all of its home league matches for the 2015/16 season, thanks to sponsorship of the Brunel Shopping Centre.
All adults wishing to watch the non-league side at the Webbswood Stadium on Supermarine Road will now only have to pay £5, whilst concessions will be charged £3, U11’s watching the game free of charge. The stadium also has free parking.
Chairman of the club Jez Webb commented: “Here at Swindon Supermarine FC we are a local, non-league family football club. With the generous help and support of our fans, volunteers and sponsors, we have a team that will again push for promotion, helping to take us a step closer to the Conference.
Every penny the club raised is reinvested in the team, the facilities and the enjoyment of our fans. Thanks to the great support of the Brunel Shopping Centre, we have been able to cut admission prices from £9 to £5, making us the cheapest club in the league to watch. I look forward to welcoming more people to the club for the new season – they will be guaranteed a warm reception.”
The great value football starts on Tuesday 7 July with the annual pre-season friendly between Swindon Town and Swindon Supermarine. Swindon Town will be bringing a full strength squad to Webbswood Stadium for the 7.30pm kick-off at 7.30pm.
There will be a well-stocked bar alongside hot and cold food served before and after the game and throughout. So if you’ve missed good football, and are anxiously awaiting the start of the new season, there really is nowhere else you would rather be on 7 July and throughout the next season.
